Country Oaks Veterinary Hospital

On May 7, 2011, the team from Country Oaks Veterinary Hospital walked for Canine Cancer at the Elk Grove Rotary Grove Regional Park.  We saw several clients with their furry four-legged kids.  

There were teams from other businesses including veterinary hospitals.  Canine survivors of cancer had their own special bandanas to wear.  With over 500 participants, the walk raised almost $71,000 for cancer research!

Country Oaks Veterinary Hospital participated in the annual Galt Strawberry Festival for the first time this year!  We were there both days (but left after the deluge on Sunday).  We spent time talking with people about their pets and caring for them as well as handing out tick and fleas on a stick and balloons to those who requested them.

We had a great time and met a lot of nice people and even got to chat with some of our clients too!

Country Oaks Veterinary Hospital participated in the annual bark park event at the Monterey Dog Park located at the corner of Lake Park Ave and Monterey Bay Ct. in Galt. We met some people and answered a few questions regarding pet health. This dog park has a separate small dog area, some agility equipment, sculptures, grass, trees and drinking water.
