Annual Bark Park April 2, 2011
Country Oaks Veterinary Hospital will be participating in the annual bark park event at the Monterey Dog Park located at the corner of Lake Park Ave and Monterey Bay Ct. in Galt. We will be there from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm answering any questions you might have. This dog park has a separate small dog area, some agility equipment, sculptures, grass, trees and drinking water.
Morris Animal Foundation "Walk for K-9 Cancer"
Come join the team from Country Oaks Veterinary Hospital on May 7, 2011 for walk for canine cancer! The walk will be held at Rotary Grove Regional Park in Elk Grove (9950 Elk Grove Florin Rd). The cost is $30 for adults, $15 for ages 10-17, and 9 and under is free.
The foundation is giving prizes for team spirit! If do not wish to walk, but would like to donate, you can donate online or at our office. The website is www.k9cancerwalk.org If you donate $10 or more, Country Oaks will give your pet a free nail trim. Just bring us the receipt if you donate online and we will clip those nails for you!
If you do decide to walk with our team, you will receive a FREE Country Oaks Veterinary Hospital t-shirt. But you need to register BEFORE April 15, 2011 so that we can order your shirt. Once you have registered, give Amanda a call at 209-745-3200 so she can get your shirt size.

Costumes are encouraged! Remember we could win some prizes for team spirit! So dress up as your favorite pet! Participants will receive a T-shirt from the Morris Animal Foundation as well. So register, and have some fun, get some free stuff, and get out an exercise--all for a very worthy cause!
Strawberry Festival May 2011
Country Oaks Veterinary Hospital will be participating in the annual Galt Strawberry Festival for the first time this year! We will be there both days, and are planning some fun stuff like tick-on-a-stick and flea-on-a stick, and balloons for the kids. We will post more details as they become available.
